Hindu Genocide

 Hindu Genocide

Even if we ignore it in our daily life, Hindu Genocide is an inevitable truth that we face. It has been ongoing systematically since ancient history and continues to date. All it takes is a bit of self-study and perceiving the truth.

In 1996, George Stanton published a paper about Genocide which had primarily 8 stages. He updated the same in 2012. As per the theory, stage 1 is Discrimination. This discrimination may be official or unofficial. Does it apply to Hindus?

We all know that at present the Hindu population of Pakistan has declined to less than 1.6% at present from around 15% at the time of Independence and Partition. Pakistan has passed various laws which lawfully took away the properties of the Hindus there.

The situation is no less grim in Bangladesh where the Vested Property Act and Vested Property Return bills act against the Hindus, thus pushing them below the poverty line. India also was about to have such a bill Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence Bill, 2011 duly supported by Indian National Congress but it was dropped. Nevertheless, the discrimination towards Hindus on various platforms is an open secret.

The second stage is Symbolisation.

Symbolisation is where a particular group is constantly portrayed as weak, meek,  and non-valiant. Ever thought why the heroes of our movies are rarely shown as a Bhakt of any diety? Why is a Brahmin always ridiculed?  Kshatriya is almost always portrayed as barbaric or an outlaw.  Vaishya is shown as a greedy and corrupt businessman. The hero always visits a church or a dargah – almost never a Temple in times of distress. The villain mostly wears a tilak and is a devotee of some Hindu deity. This subliminally fed into the psyche of generation after generation weakens the roots and helps in the conversion of Hindus.

Stage three is Dehumanisation.

The subject is portrayed or compared with non-respectable things or items. M F Hussain depicted Hindu deities obscenely in the name of freedom of expression but he never dared to do so after any other “Gods” of other religions. Hindu deities are mocked. We have jokes and insults related to them in Bollywood films in the form of progressive culture. Also, most of the media always put up a picture of a Hindu sadhu as a representative image, no matter which Mulla or Padre committed the crime. Further dehumanisation promotes attack towards the targeted ethnicity and subsequently, those class of people are weakened through violence. This is what was seen in the recent Delhi riots, the lynching of the Sadhus in Maharashtra, murders of various Sadhus and various love jihad cases.

Dehumanisation is a very critical and long term plan as it paves way for the 4th stage that is Organisation by “normalising” the killings in the social strata. Organisation is the assimilation of machinery to conduct a full-scale murder,  riot etc leading to extermination. Rarely any Hindus have any fire weapons at their homes for self protection but the other side is always ready at a beck and call to attack and avenge.

This is what happened in the Moplah Massacre, Noakhali Massacre, Golaghat Massacre, Satanikhil Massacre, Bangalore riots, Godhra Massacre etc, the list goes on and on. Whatever may be the case, it is always the innocent Hindu who takes the first blow and later has to compromise for civil society in the name of secularism.

Next stage is Polarisation – where the rights are openly challenged. Like in 2015 in Birbhum West Bengal, under Muslim pressure, Mamata’s government banned Durga Puja. Muslim colleges ban rakhi, Christian schools punish students for Mehendi, tilak etc but celebrate Xmas. The colleges owned by the Christians and Muslims openly allot more than 50% of their seats to people of their religion. Despite this, they generally receive a subsidy from the government while the Hindus pay the majority of the taxes. Hindus are also forced to pay taxes for almost every institution owned by them, including their temples.

Speaking of temples, all major Hindu temples are controlled and taxed by the government whereas none of the religious places of the minority communities is taxed or controlled. Through various funds, a Maulvi or a Pastor gets a starting salary of 25,000 to 30,000 per month for their career as a servant of their God, but a Hindu pujari at many government controlled temples is paid 6-20 rupees per day salary – in many small temples, nothing is paid.

The next stages are Preparation,  Persecution and Extermination

The same thing that is happening with Sikhs and Hindus in Afghanistan. The same thing that happened to innocent Kashmiri Pandits. Various violent measures like forced exile, death threats, mass graves, rape etc are adopted against the Hindus so that the Abrahamists could get more of their lands and establish their dominion.

The last stage is Denial.

When the Moplah riots took place it was blamed on Hindu Brahmins and washed off as a peasant rising in our textbooks. The Kashmiri pandits never got their direct say and the Muslims were never brought to justice.

The “secular” media houses always hide the name of the perpetrators and thus it is forgotten in history.  It is also to be noted that it is generally the Brahmins among the Hindus who are being targeted so that the work of conversion becomes easier.

The game is full-on, right under our nose and it is up to us if we want to play or sit on the bench and see our side lose.
